The Camp in 1935. Note the mess hall and education building in the
foreground and the four barracks and officers quarters behind it.


The Administration, camper check-in, and concession building and beach
area. To the left is the bath house that once stood. In the background is
the beginnings of a red pine plantation


The building of the cabins. The cabins originally had no water nor
electricity. Ice blocks were delivered for refrigeration


Planting fruit trees for the birds and white cedar for the deer. This is
behind the Administration Building


Sawing ice off of Gilbert Lake to be stored in the Ice House for
refrigeration


The camp orchestra. The boys would invite their girlfriends up for a
Saturday night dance
